MICA Illustration and the Baltimore Office of Sustainability partnered on a terrific project through the Illustration Concepts I class this semester.

The theme “It’s All Connected” was given to students to address. The purpose of the posters is to demonstrate how every action we do affects ourselves, our community and our environment. A jury of Concepts faculty and the department Chair selected the following posters for publication by the Office of Sustainability. Congratulations to the Selected and to the Honorable Mentions. Photographs of the posters on site will be posted here after they are printed.

Thanks go out to Concepts faculty Jose Villarrubia, Alain Corbel, Allan Comport and Rebecca Bradley for their work with their students, to Ben Kutil for running InDesign Workshops in all the sections and to all the Concepts students who participated! The posters are on display in the Illustration Gallery.
