Congratulations to the IL students involved in the 2009 MICA Art Market. Our tables were the highest grossing coming in at $11,275.50! By all accounts this was a great experience for the every student who registered to sell. For the first time, one entire class [The Lab] participated as part of the class curriculum. Both Allan Comport and Whitney Sherman, coordinators for IL, were super pleased with how enthusiastic and organized the IL students were during the market’s 4 day run. A belated thanks to all the IL students who not only made great work, but did a fabulous job marketing, merchandising and doing sales! If you didn’t participate in Art Market this year, please ask about it and consider it for next year.
