Etsy.com (online store that allows you to buy and sell handmade items) wants to help the MICA illustrators and designers! This is the perfect opportunity for either students with Etsy shops that are already selling their handmade products or for those just getting started! The Etsy team will help create a portal to hold all of the MICA illustration and design students’ shops together, which will make it easier for shoppers on Etsy to find specific schools (like MICA) who are designing, creating, and selling their work. Etsy.com is the perfect place. (The Etsy team is just waiting to hear from us so that they can help us get started!)

Background: The Fashion Graphics class last semester was introduced to the option of using Etsy.com to sell their handmade products that they designed and created. Fashion Graphic faculty Zvezdana Stojmirovic created a relationship with the Etsy team, and they are SUPER excited about helping the MICA graphic design and illustration students get their work sold!
